     We have been serving Carroll County, Maryland and the surrounding areas for over 25 years.

       My father Randy Gross started Gross Transport Service as a small moving and delivery company in 1980. Doing business mostly with family and friends and working out of an old truck that somewhat resembled an ice cream truck, he worked night and day to please his customers and to raise three kids. Through the years his customer base grew and he upgraded the trucks.

       After serving our country as a soldier in the United States Army and doing a tour in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, I am pleased to say upon returning home my wife and I took over the family business in September 2004.

       Our goals are the same today as they were 25 years ago. We strive to do our very best to please our customers and provide them with the best service possible. Helping and supporting the community is a big part of not only our business but our personal life also. We feel that we accomplish these goals by having responsible and motivate employees, being a member of the Taneytown Chamber of Commerce, being active in our church, and being a member of the Taneytown Volunteer Fire Company.
